Yes, most poop bags in the market content an EPI additive which helps them to break down, unlike traditional plastic bags. We do offer certified EPI bags with EPI's TDPA authorization. Which we call them biodegradable. We also use certified compostable bags made from plant starches and have been BPI certified & TUV Austria certified and meet ASTM D6400 and EN13432 guidelines which allows them to be disposed of in a municipal composting facility that accepts pet waste.

For EPI poop bags, they can biodegrade in 1-2 years. But consider most poop bags have printings, so we advise the shelf life within 1.5 years. According to experience, the place with ink coverage breaks down quicker than without ink coverage. For compostable bags, they can biodegrade into water, carbon dixoide and biomass in composting faciliies as soon as 90 days. While if it is not put in the facilities, they will be biodegrade as short as 90days. But within 1 year is advised for the shelf life.
